Our client is an established financial institution which is starting a new products featuring Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. The Director of Communications and Branding will be responsible for the public relations, communications, marketing, and branding for this new product.
Description
As the Director of Communications and Branding, you will design and implement a comprehensive global public relations strategy that aligns with the company's objectives, engaging both blockchain-savvy audiences and the general public. You will oversee all external messaging, including website updates, blog posts, newsletters, and social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and WeChat.
The Director will craft announcements, tailored media pitches, and thought-provoking content to secure coverage in top blockchain, fintech, and traditional financial outlets. You will cultivate strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders within the Web3 and fintech communities. Additionally, you will lead crisis communication efforts, ensuring swift and composed responses to challenges. Collaborating closely with marketing, product, and executive teams, you will maintain a cohesive brand voice and messaging across all channels.
The Director will also monitor industry trends, analyze PR performance metrics, and adapt strategies to maximize impact and achieve organizational goals.
Profile
This position requires at least 8 years of public relations (PR) communications experience, including those in Web3, blockchain, or fintech industries. Experience applying PR & Communications strategies in a marketing and branding context is necessary.
Candidates should come with deep understanding of cryptocurrency, DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and regulatory landscapes, as well as a proven track record of securing high-impact media placements and managing global campaigns. To succeed in the role, candidates should possess a self-starter mentality with experience thriving in fast-paced, remote-first environments. The ability to translate complex Web3 concepts into clear and engaging narratives for diverse audiences is also Proficiencies in written and spoken English and Chinese are required.
Job Offer
