The Engineering Manager will lead and oversee engineering projects related to the design and manufacturing of plastic and sewing toys within a trading company environment. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in engineering management, who can effectively manage teams, drive product development, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Lead and manage engineering teams in the development of new plastic and sewing toy products.

Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to align engineering projects with business objectives.

Oversee project logistics, resource allocation, and budget management.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all engineering processes.

Maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to secure necessary resources and materials.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide mentorship to engineering staff.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in toy manufacturing and engineering practices.

Job Requirements:

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) is required.

Experience:

More than 10 years of experience in engineering management, specifically in the plastic and sewing toy industries.

Experience in a trading company environment is highly preferred.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering design tools.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Other Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance practices.
