II. Job Opportunity:

Candidates who wish to apply must possess experience in the following areas: (1) overseeing and managing the settlement process within our organization; and (2) having a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

III. Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversight of Settlement Processes: Ensure that all transaction settlements are conducted smoothly and in a timely manner.
2. Transaction Reconciliation: Verify and reconcile transaction data with counterparties to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Monitoring of Fund Transfers: Track the inflow and outflow of funds to ensure timely and compliant transactions.
4. Dispute Resolution: Address any discrepancies or disputes arising during the settlement process, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve issues.
5. Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all settlement activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
6. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed settlement reports and analyze settlement data to identify areas for improvement.
7. System Management: Oversee the functionality and maintenance of settlement systems to ensure efficient operations.
8. Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with departments such as risk management, compliance, and trading to facilitate smooth settlement processes.

IV. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in settlement operations within a licensed financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong's Securities Markets.
• Familiarity with SFC regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in settlement systems and financial software.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).

V. Remuneration Package:

• Permanent role with initial 12-month fixed term;
