Our client, one of the largest listed companies in Hong Kong, is renowned for its cutting-edge technologies and customer-centric approach in providing day-to-day services to society. They are currently seeking an infrastructure engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experienced in managing complex IT projects, particularly in data center relocations and operations. This is an initial 12-month contract position with the possibility of renewal.

Key Contributions:

• Involve large scale of data center relocation project.
• Develop comprehensive project documentation, including testing specifications and detailed acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the success of the data center project.
• Provide hands-on support for the Backup & Recovery System (BRS) infrastructure and assist with daily backup operations as needed.
• Manage Change, Problem, and Incident processes, including follow-up on failed backup jobs and other related issues.

Core Expectations:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in IT Infrastructure or Data Centre Operations
• Experience in VM ware/ Backup & Recovery Systems would be an advantage
• Fluent in written and speaking Cantonese & English
