System Analyst (Financial Application) - Reputable Law Firm
Provide technical support for the firm's legal service application sysem which includes Aderant Expert Sierra and Intapp .
Assist with implementation projects for Aderant Expert and other integrated financial systems, such as SSRS reports, budgeting, expert billing and collections, time entry, paperless pre-bills, and generic importer.
Support the finance team, administrative staff, and external vendors on issues related to the LPMS.
Collaborate closely with external (Aderant) and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues and provide application support.
Offer technical support for the firm's clustered SQL environments and develop SQL queries.
Help maintain user and matter security within the LPMS.
Develop and troubleshoot stored procedures.
Identify areas for improvement within the Firm's financial applications and independently propose and execute improvement solutions.
Customize forms and build inquiries/reports using Aderant Expert customization tools.
Maintain detailed records documenting procedures, methodologies, and sources of information employed during analytical tasks.
Ensure quality and timely delivery of all work.
Promote effective work practices and work as a team member.
Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives.
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates with a degree in Accounting or Finance and the required experience will also be considered.
At least 3 years of experience supporting legal and/or financial software platforms such as Aderant, Elite 3E, IntApp.
Experience implementing and troubleshooting scripts using SQL.
Experience collaborating with vendors to facilitate application support and incident management.
Knowledge of accounting principles, systems, practices, controls, and procedures.
The ability to work independently to research, analyze, and troubleshoot complex problems and solutions.
Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and knowledge of LPMS and financial applications commonly used by law firms.
The ability to articulate complex technologies to non-technical people and help technical staff understand business requirements better.
The ability to work in a diverse team environment and effectively support the demanding needs of the Firm.
A self-starter attitude with a high level of initiative and strong customer service skills, able to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining confidentiality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese , allowing effective communication with all levels of the Firm and outside vendors.
