Our client is a leading established electronic manufacturing company, looking for an experienced sourcing expert to join their team as a VP of Sourcing & Purchasing.

Reporting into the Managing Director , a typical day will include the following:

• Lead sourcing and quotation efforts across three factories in China and Vietnam.
• Drive continuous cost reductions by implementing effective sourcing, commodity, and supply chain strategies.
• Manage team operations in sourcing and evaluating new qualified suppliers both globally and locally.
• Oversee supplier performance focusing on quality, cost, delivery, and technological advancement.
• Supervise daily quotation processes, including analyzing customer inquiries, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and pricing structures.

To succed in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Purchasing & Supply Chain Management.
• 13+ years of experience in purchasing and procurement of high-tech electronic products and machinery, with a minimum of 8 years in a similar leadership role.
• Solid knowledge of components and products, with a proven track record in managing electronics OEM/ODM projects related to sourcing, supplier selection, procurement, and performance management.
• Good negotiation and communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
• Willingness to travel frequently to Shenzhen and internationally.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Assistant Vice President.
