Our client is an innovative tech start-up that helps businesses address key ESG and sustainability reporting challenges by combining advanced technology with expert advisory services. They support companies in over 40 countries across various industries in developing and enhancing their ESG strategies through technology.

They are seeking a Software QA Lead who is experienced in automated testing for large-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build out test suites and test cases for functional as well as non-functional tests along with documentation.
  • Provide manual release support where features are not yet covered by automation.
  • Work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and all other stakeholders of the team to understand and make recommendations on the dev approaches to meet their needs.
  • Troubleshooting across multiple apps and services in a distributed cloud environment.
  • Debug production bugs and errors and update the respective regressions to test the edge case
  • Contribute to bringing industry best practices and up-leveling the Quality Engineering Organization at large
  • Continuously improve and innovate existing tools, processes, and frameworks to support a rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Key Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
  • Strong experience with modern TypeScript automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing JavaScript and TypeScript code.
  • Experience with Playwright is a big plus (experience with Cypress or other frameworks is also beneficial).
  • Experience working in agile and CI/CD environments.
  • Must have automation testing experience.
