Internal Audit Director

We are assisting our client in hiring an Internal Audit Director to lead their Internal Audit Unit and ensure effective governance, risk management, and control processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Internal Audit Unit, ensuring effective governance and risk management
• Develop and implement a rotational risk-based audit plan
• Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits
• Compile audit reports with findings and recommendations
• Lead and develop a high-performing internal audit team
• Stay updated with auditing profession developments
• Maintain strong relationships with the Audit Committee and Management
• Provide insights on audit, quality assurance, and risk management
• Perform investigations and ad hoc assignments as needed

Requirements:

• Recognized degree or higher in a relevant discipline, with CPA or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 15 years of internal audit experience, including 10 years in management
• Extensive knowledge of management information systems and computer-based auditing
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua
