IT Project Manager (Development) (SPO (B)) (Contract) (Ref.：IT/146825)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management or other related experiences
• Strong technical foundation in IT project management and digital transformation
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese.

Job Purposes:

• The IT Project Manager will lead the signature IT projects of the St. James Settlement, facilitating the strategic use of technology to drive service innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and facilitate data-driven decision-making. This role requires a blend of strategic oversight, project management and hands-on technical expertise to ensure that the IT solutions and workflows support the objectives and service delivery of the projects

Job Duties:

• Strategic Leadership and Planning of IT Projects: Lead the development and execution of IT projects that align with organizational goals, enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency through emerging technologies. Review internal IT systems and tools for performance and suitability, and recommend and implement necessary improvements
• Innovation and Service Improvement: Explore new technologies and innovations to enhance service delivery, user experience, and operational efficiency. Provide guidance and support to service departments for technology-driven projects
• IT Project Management for Compliance and Security: Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects with a focus on enhancing compliance and security. Conduct risk assessments and implement defense strategies to protect organizational data and IT assets. Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures, including user education and compliance monitoring, to ensure a secure and compliant IT environment
• Project and Vendor Management: Oversee IT project management from initiation to deployment, ensuring timely, on-budget, and within-scope delivery. Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to align with organizational needs and ensure quality service
• Team Management and Development: Support service teams by promoting a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance. Leverage project management knowledge and experience to enhance IT innovation. Mobilize different service teams to collaborate effectively, ensuring efficient IT operations and successful project delivery
