On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Business Development Manager APAC to join their team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, and donor engagement, with a strong passion for social impact.

Key responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the APAC region, focusing on partnerships with museums, galleries, and cultural institutions.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the APAC art sector.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand the foundation’s reach and impact in the region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential partners.

Sales:

• Sell exhibition projects and programs to museums and cultural institutions, generating revenue for the foundation.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure partnerships.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet revenue targets.

Project Management:

• Collaborate with in-house teams (curation, marketing, logistics) to develop and execute exhibition projects.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of exhibitions.
• Ensure that all projects align with the foundation's mission and strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
• Excellent spoken and written English; French is a plus.
• Proven experience in business development, fundraising, or partnership management within the non-profit sector or art industry.
• Strong network within the APAC region and ability to engage with stakeholders across corporate, government, and philanthropic sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop strategic plans and execute fundraising initiatives effectively.
• Experience in writing grant proposals and securing funding.
• Passion for social impact and knowledge of the NGO sector.
