HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE ND LEARN?

• Research and identify opportunity to promote cultural and eco-tourism itineraries and products for HKTB’s new initiatives e.g. Island Tourism, Horse Racing Tourism, Silver Tourism
• Responsible for developing educational tours by collecting market intelligence, identifying potential issues, analysing feedback from the travel trade, and facilitating with travel trade partners to create and enhance educational tour offerings in Hong Kong
• Plan and execute new cross-industry collaborative approaches and programmes that generate new business opportunities for travel trade partners in promoting Hong Kong
• Collaborate with travel agent stakeholders to obtain their supports on HKTB’s initiatives/local tactical activities/events and to facilitate their promotional efforts
• Monitor progress and evaluate results promptly to ensure the most effective promotional strategies are implemented
• Provide planning, organising and execution support on ad-hoc marketing activities as assigned
• Undertake any other/ad hoc duties and assignments from the department

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Degree holder with 5 years or above work experience in tourism industry is preferred
• Good knowledge of travel industry and tourism products in Hong Kong
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, critical thinking and project management skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Highly proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
