Primary Responsibilities:

The Financial Accountant oversees the HK office's accounting-related activities. The role will also be responsible for daily crypto asset management, blockchain accounting, timely/accurate completion of assets collection, allocation, accounts rebalancing, and asset reconciliation. This role also assists with accounting work, asset transaction bookkeeping, and monthly close/reporting processes.

Accounting Responsibilities:

• Support daily bookkeeping, month-end close process of HK entity, including revenue andcost recognition, reconciliation, investment and review of fixed assets, and accruals, etc.
• Optimize payment and receiving process, establish budget management and cost analysis to improve the operational efficiencies
• Establish, optimize and uphold accounting procedures; support VASP and other SFC licenses application
• Accounting support to foreign subsidiaries

Asset Management Responsibilities:

• Support maintaining current asset channels and help building on new asset channels and OTC partners
• Provide daily assets report and analysis to support management decision on capital allocation Monitoring operation cash flow and manage risk and participate in the development of related dashboards
• Help to optimize blockchain asset collection strategy
• Help support on Institutional BU’s request
• Reconcile assets accounts and support payment review
• Monitor cash activity of the fund including cash controls, cash forecasting, cash transfer for investment needs, receipt of subscription proceeds, payment of redemptions and operating expenses

Requirements:

• Bachelor or higher degree in accounting or related fields.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies or work experience in crypto industry is a plus
• At least 4 years’ experience in corporate accounting, or fund accounting or asset management, treasury function
• Strong knowledge of IFRS. Professional accounting qualification is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and digest mass amounts of data required. Experience in using ORACLE-NETSUITE is a plus
• Possess excellent analytical, business partnering, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
