Data Engineering Lead / FS / $1.2M / Perm

About the Role
We are seeking a Data Engineering Lead to drive the development of enterprise data analytics capabilities and solutions. You will play a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of data engineering projects, enabling critical capabilities such as data ingestion, data modeling, data governance, data visualization, and analytics toolsets.
This role requires a strong technical background in data technologies and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while managing end-to-end project responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead data engineering projects from inception to deployment.
* Develop scalable and robust data pipelines, data models, and governance frameworks.
* Drive best practices in data architecture, security, and management.
* Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure optimal data solutions.
* Implement AWS-based data solutions and optimize cloud infrastructure for analytics.
* Champion Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.

Key Skills & Experience
* Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end data engineering projects.
* Strong background in software development and data engineering technologies, including multi-tiered service-oriented architectures and data virtualization.
* Expert-level skills in AWS and Python.
* Solid understanding of data security, governance, and management tools.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and modern CI/CD pipelines.
