Assistant Manager – MidCorp

(Less Experience Will Be Considered As Senior Executive)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive profitable growth of MidCorp business
• Handle account servicing to build-up & maintain the business portfolio in line with the target regional and local goals
• Utilize and further develop strong network of local brokers, monitor market developments, and develop adequate strategies
• Assist Team Lead to reinforce sales capabilities & technical skills within the team and provide solid technical support & training to team members
• Assist to Define and Execute team strategies, business plan & marketing activities
• Implement global underwriting rules and disciplines and provide recommendations in respect of local underwriting guidelines, price principle and structure etc.
• Optimize internal operation efficiency in line with underwriting requirement and service excellence
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in General Insurance industry
• Tertiary education; holders of ACII/ANZIIF qualifications or equivalent would be an advantage
• Strong technical, analytical, and underwriting skills
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty (Multi Commercial Lines) Underwriting will be an advantage
• Results-driven, strong market knowledge & network; Customer-oriented; be proactive and innovative in offering solutions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
