Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage Prudential Partnership Distribution partner portfolio - identify and manage holistic partnership pipeline opportunity
  • Identify and build relationships both internally (Group function e.g. Corporate Development, Finance, Legal; and Local markets) and externally (e.g. banks, investment banks)
  • Partner with Corporate Development team on deal evaluation & negotiation
  • Work with Local Markets to provide expertise view on banca sales model & proposition, and collaborate with LBU PD team on sales projection
  • Work with Local Markets to provide expertise view on banca agreement, onboarding and activation plan for new partners
  • Lead or support Strategy development work on project base, as part of Group Partnership Distribution Strategy & Business Development team
  • Lead market opportunity assessment to identify potential prospects
  • Manage internal partnership with Corporate Development team, LBU PD and external network (e.g investment bank) to gather market insights
  • Lead and drive prospecting & development of engagement plan together with LBU PD & Corporate Development team


Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant working experience in M&A; previous experience in bancassurance M&A is highly preferred
  • Strong communicator with good relationship management and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Strong analytical / quantitative skills and understanding of life insurance financials;
  • Good business acumen with strategic mindset; previous Strategy development experience is a plus
  • Strong capabilities in project management
  • Good team player
  • Flexibility to travel and attend meetings/events as necessary
