Job Summary

  • Business and Client Solutions was set up in 2024 to deliver first class trade support, business enablement and accurate / timely trade representation in order to meet obligations to clients, counterparties and regulators. We are product and process subject matter experts aligned to the Global Financial Markets business providing follow the sun support, a continuous improvement mindset and industry connectivity.

Responsibilities

Roles Responsibilities

  • Setup a governance framework for project delivery.
  • Include but not limited to ensure all Testing within Operations up to the standard suggested by Regulator.
  • Ensure BAU are meeting GIA & External Consultant request
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: Markets COO, Operation finance, compliance and Project Team) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
  • Evaluate, analyse, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of status reports to all appropriate parties
  • Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations

Strategy

  • Business alignment / Product expertise: Project specialists who understand project priorities and strategy
  • Connect: Build bridges across the country lead, project management team and local stakeholder, create efficiencies on project delivery
  • Leadership and Market presence: Own your domain and influence product evolution, define internal standards and shape future utilities through selective industry positioning
  • Risk Manager: Define the standard to effectively control the on-project delivery understand regulations, external consultant, and internal project management team

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree preferred

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years Project management in Financial Markets experience ideally from a top tier bank with
  • Understanding of front to back process and systems flows

  • Confident communicator able to adapt style to Front Office and offshore colleagues
  • Ability to influence demanding individuals
  • Impact and gravitas to drive meetings with senior Ops and FO management
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and values mindset

  • Fast learner with the ability to think out of the box and provide solutions
  • Knowledge of Murex preferable plus Commodities Products
  • Proficient in Excel (pivots, lookups and basic VBA an advantage)
  • VBA
