Hedge Fund Analyst (Equity Research Analyst)

Investment Team | Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

• Quantitative research to identify assets for trading based on the fund's strategy and mandate.
• Analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities for hedge funds.
• Conducting research into investment opportunities, monitoring risk, and making recommendations to portfolio managers.
• Performing analysis, and due diligence to support investment decisions.
• Assist Portfolio Managers in generating and evaluating investment ideas.
• Providing guidance to a portfolio manager on how to best structure the hedge fund's investment portfolio.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably having focused on the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT), Global Tech or Automotive/ Industrial sectors.
• Strong interest in capturing news and able to collect information/ data under time pressures.
• Ability to thrive in a high-intensity environment.
• Strong analytical skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
