The position is responsible for deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management, working closely with various regional funds. You will focus on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and/or New-Energy and Advanced Manufacturing sectors. This position is full-time and based in Hong Kong office.

Deal Sourcing and Execution

• Source, map, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities within the designated sector.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments.
• Formulate deal structures and negotiate legal documentation with investment targets.
• Prepare comprehensive investment memos in both Chinese and English.

Portfolio Management

• Regularly manage the post-investment portfolio, providing value-add whenever possible.
• Generate quarterly valuations and portfolio reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete daily fund management tasks.

Financial Analysis and Modeling

• Build full 3-statement financial models with scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support investment decision-making.

Fundraising and Support

• Assist management with fundraising activities.
• Support other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Post-graduated in Finance, Business, or related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
• At least 10+ years of consistent experience in related fields; familiar with Hong Kong or US listing companies, with a proven tracking record in related markets
• Strong understanding of the designated sector and experience in evaluating investment opportunities within those industries.
• Proficient in financial analysis and modelling, with the ability to build comprehensive 3-statement financial models.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise investment memos. Ability to speak Japanese/ Korean would be an advantage but not essential.
• Team-player and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good work ethic with ability to work effectively and under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
