Job Description

The Position of Marketing Manager in Dialogue in the Dark (HK) Foundation (The Foundation) is designated to promote and manage the brand of The Foundation and all its brands, particularly Dialogue Experience (DE).

To lead the marketing team for sustainable growth of DE’s branding and collaborate with business development teams to co-create value and experience with our partners & colleagues, align with the Foundation’s mission to create social impact.

To position the Foundation as a thought leader in inclusion and diversity(I&D). We engage People of Differences (PoDs) to create social impact. Through our unique experiential workshops and tours, and other creative activities, our corporate, education, NGOs and public clients will enhance their awareness and to make choices that drive positive social impact with I&D in mind. 

People of Differences (PoDs)’  mean People with disabilities such as the blind, the deaf, etc. All of them have different abilities or talents, and we have built a platform for them to showcase their abilities or talent

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with the foundation's mission and vision.
  • Set annual marketing goals and objectives. 
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences and opportunities.

Brand Management:

  • Maintain and enhance the DE’s image and reputation. 
  • Develop and execute branding campaigns to increase brand awareness and recognition.
  • Oversee brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.

Marketing and Communications:

  • Develop and execute promotion events, marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, PR, and advertising.
  • Create compelling marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
  • Manage the foundation's website and social media channels.
  • Organize and participate in events, workshops, and conferences.

Social Impact:

  • Ensure that all marketing and sales activities align with the foundation's social mission.
  • Develop partnerships with other organizations to promote I&D awareness.
  • Measure and report on the social impact of marketing and sales activities.

Unique Challenges and Opportunities:

  • Leveraging Experiential Marketing: Using the unique DE experience to create impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Building Trust and Empathy: Fostering understanding and empathy for PoDs through marketing and sales efforts.
  • Measuring Social Impact: Developing metrics to assess the impact of marketing and sales activities on social change.

Requirements

  • Resonance in DiDF's mission & value to nurture an inclusive society with diversity and equality;
  • Cheerful character, passionate about working together with a diverse team (includes visually / hearing impaired teammates);
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, BA, or a related field is preferred. 
  • 5 years or above professional experience preferably in B2B or B2B2C environment with solid digital marketing and PR experiences 
  • Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin
