Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business units and Mainland headquarters for Strategic Planning, KPI Development and Action Planning
  • Assist in gathering data and analyzing external environment including macroeconomics, industry trends and competitive bench-marking as well as analyzing internal strengths and weaknesses;
  • Drive strategic initiatives from strategy development to execution to ensure growth and achievement of objectives across all business units;
  • Responsible for leading the Asset Management, FICC, and Institutional Sales and Trading departments in departmental vision, structure, and management while providing leadership, accountability, and mentorship to team development;
  • Aligning Asset Management, FICC, and Institutional Sales and Trading departments’ goals, processes and resource allocation with the organizational strategy;
  • Establish and review key strategic priorities and translating them into a comprehensive strategic plan
  • Monitoring the execution of the strategic plan as well as facilitating and driving key strategic initiatives through inception phase;
  • Lead business case development and execution plan for key strategic initiatives;
  • Lead the roadmap planning process in collaboration with business units and the Mainland headquarters;
  • Work closely with both Mainland headquarters to assist in both regular and ad-hoc management reporting.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or above in Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Management, or related disciplines.
  • At least 8 years of Corporate Planning Strategy, KPI development and Strategic Integration experience in sizable financial institutions and/or regulatory bodies, previous experience in consulting firm will be highly appreciated;
  • Excellent knowledge in securities laws, operations, products and services;
  • Demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, strong attention to details and excellent business writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills (in both Chinese and English;
  • Ability to influence top management/key stakeholders and challenge the status quo; 
  • Experienced in building, leading, and developing high performing team members; 
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills, proven ability in problem-solving and structured thinking;
  • Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions, balancing analysis with decisiveness.
