Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC), a non-profit making and non-statutory corporation responsible for the overall administration of “.hk” domain names in Hong Kong. HKIRC is also responsible for the on-going liaison with local and international bodies on issues relating to the development and administration of Internet domain name systems.  We are looking for highly motivated and independent candidates for the position of: 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform daily system operation tasks, system monitoring, and system administration 
• Participate in system infrastructure architecture design and enhancements 
• Setup and conduct proof-of-concept testing and evaluation on testbeds for assessing new technology, technical standards, and products
• Support IT Projects, DR Drill / BCP, Application release
• Develop operation procedures to ensure proper control, ITSM, risk management, system and data security are in place for all IT infrastructure and data centre operation. 
• 7x24 emergency operation support for data centre & BAU operations when necessary 

  Requirements: 

• Diploma or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in VMware ESXi, Windows Server, Linux, DB in large scale network supporting
  • Hands-on experience in MS Window server, Office365, SMS/ConfigMgr, Active Directory integrated DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP and WINS operation.
  • Solid experience and knowledge on Backup Technology (Veeam & Avamar) is an advantages
• Working experience in Hybrid SAN, Cloud-based solution (Cloudflare, AWS, Azure … etc)
  • Knowledge in Windows & Linux platforms and scripting using shell/Python/PowerShell
  • Certificate Holder of MCP+ / Cloud platform (e.g. Azure Administrator) is an advantages 
• Extensive knowledge in ISO27001 and ITIL/ITSM is preferred
• Knowledge in IT security operation including vulnerability scanning, virus remediation monitoring is preferred
• Effective communication and Interpersonal skills and as team members
• Good command of written and spoken in English and Cantonese
• Demonstrated commitment working under pressure independently
