Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Management:
    • Lead the planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, seminars, webinars, networking receptions, and client appreciation events, managing all aspects from initial concept to post-event analysis.
    • Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management (e.g., catering, A/V, booth design), budget management, attendee registration, and on-site support.
    • Develop detailed event project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all events are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Create compelling event agendas and collaborate with speakers, facilitators, and internal subject matter experts to develop engaging presentations and workshops.
    • Oversee the creation and distribution of all event-related materials, including promotional brochures, presentations, signage, and giveaways.
  • Content Creation and Whitepaper Development:
    • Produce high-quality, engaging, and informative content for various marketing channels, including website, blog, social media, email campaigns, brochures, and presentations.
    • Research, write, and edit compelling whitepapers on industry trends, product solutions, and thought leadership topics that resonate with our target audience and generate leads.
    • Write and edit blog posts, articles, newsletters, case studies, and other content highlighting events, company news, and topics relevant to our audience.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop technically accurate and engaging content.
  • Public Relations and Brand Building:
    • Manage all aspects of media relations, including responding to media inquiries, preparing press releases, organizing press conferences, and coordinating interviews.
    • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all PR activities and communications.
    •  
    • Work closely with a PR agency (or manage in-house PR efforts) to secure media coverage across various channels (print, online, broadcast) for company news, product launches, thought leadership, and events.
  • Performance Evaluation and Reporting:
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing events and campaigns.
    • Track and analyze event performance metrics, including attendance rates, engagement levels, lead generation, website traffic, social media reach, and feedback.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive post-event reports with actionable insights and recommendations for future event improvements.
    • Utilize data to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI.
  • Collaboration and Team Support:
    • Work closely with the marketing team and other departments (sales, product development, customer service) to ensure alignment in messaging, branding, and overall marketing strategy.
    • Assist in brainstorming and sharing creative ideas for event themes, promotional strategies, and content formats.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.
    • Mentor and guide junior marketing team members.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is required. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4  years of experience in a marketing role with a focus on event management, content creation, or public relations. Experience in the e-commerce or SaaS industry is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing a wide range of marketing events, from small seminars to large-scale conferences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to create compelling marketing content (blog posts, whitepapers, presentations, etc.).
  • Experience working with PR agencies and managing external vendor relationships.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies.
