Company Overview:

A leading property developer in Hong Kong, focusing on the delivery of high-quality commercial, hotel, and residential projects. We are looking for a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a managerial capacity, overseeing the financial aspects of our diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and management of project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare comprehensive bills of quantities.
• Monitor project costs, assess variations, and prepare regular cost reports for management.
• Collaborate with project teams, including architects and engineers, to ensure accurate cost management.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare tender documents and conduct feasibility studies for procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in quantity surveying practices.
• Mentor and provide leadership to junior quantity surveyors and support staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, particularly in commercial, hotel, and residential projects.
• Strong expertise in construction processes, contract management, and cost control.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese is a must. 
• Chartered membership eg MRICS or MHKIS is a must.
