Key Responsibilities

• Support middle office operations of Trading Team of IS Department with the focus on risk management and control to ensure mitigation of risk and control effectiveness
• Assist the team to track the markets and provide timely feedbacks on trading insights, opportunities and the result of trade execution
• Assist to process large database to detect hidden signals and patterns in order to predict future events
• Develop analytical, quantitative tools, and framework to attribute performance, monitors risks, and evaluate portfolio construction
• Prepare statistical and research reports on global fixed income market
• Perform appropriate checking and implement control measures on the current workflow on the established procedures and policies, while exercising good judgment in mitigating risk and following escalation procedures
• Prepare and consolidate necessary information and data for internal and external parties for audit, reporting or other relevant purposes
• Liaise with internal departments and external counterparties for daily issues and special/ ad hoc projects

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business or a related discipline, professional qualifications of CFA, FRM, etc. is an advantage
• 1-2 years of Big 4 experience will be an advantage
• Strong sense of responsibility, well organized and attention to details
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a highly confidential, fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication skill in written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
