Job Summary
The Compliance and HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire human resources function of the organization, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role also involves managing public affairs, union knowledge, employment law, human rights, manufacturing law, safety, brand law, and sustainable law. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in these areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Buyer and Quality Coordination:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for local and overseas buyers, ensuring effective communication from sample development to bulk production.
  • Collaborate closely with quality control teams to align on product specifications, production timelines, and quality requirements.
  • Facilitate seamless coordination between the merchandising department and other cross-functional teams.
  • Production and Supply Chain Management:
  • Oversee the entire production planning and follow-up process, from sample creation to bulk order execution.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and customers on costing, lead times, and other commercial terms to optimize profitability and timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable and efficient supply chain operations.
  • Team Leadership and Capacity Building:
  • Lead and develop the local merchandising department, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Implement efficient processes and procedures to streamline merchandising operations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative, proactive, and high-performing work environment within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education level: F.5 or above
  • At least 10 years of work experience in the garment manufacturing industry, with a focus on knit cut & sew and/or woven garment production
  • Prior experience working in a garment factory setting is preferred
  • Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
  • Knowledge of the Vietnamese language is an advantage
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with local and overseas buyers, as well as quality control teams
  • Strong understanding of costing, sample development, bulk production follow-up, and supplier/customer negotiation
  • Mature, independent, proactive, and responsible work approach
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated leadership, team management, and training capabilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per month
