Position Overview
The Mechanical Engineering Manager will lead the mechanical engineering team, overseeing the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope.
• Design and develop mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to enhance product designs and address technical challenges.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze project requirements to determine optimal engineering solutions.
• Oversee the testing and validation of mechanical systems to ensure they meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
• Manage project resources, budgets, and schedules, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide engineering teams.
• Experience in project management methodologies and tools.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential.
