Gaw Capital Asset Management (HK) Limited , a member of Gaw Capital Partners, is a real estate asset management company that focuses on real estate markets in Hong Kong. Gaw Capital Partners through funds under its management, and consortium partners have acquired a wide range of retail and commercial portfolio in Hong Kong. The portfolio is comprised of a number of strategically-located properties across Hong Kong that sit in the heart of densely-populated communities and in close proximity to MTR stations. The assets under management is approx. HK$60 billion. We are now inviting application for the position of Marketing Manager.


About the Role


We are looking for a Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Manager passionate to transform our local neighbourhood shopping centres into community hubs via creative marketing initiatives and branding campaigns. You’ll have an opportunity to plan and carry out various marketing initiatives targeting different community shopping centres across different districts in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be a strong executor who pays attention to detail; a collaborator who is open to new ideas and able to think creatively about the business and marketing opportunities; and an analytical assessor who can objectively evaluate the impact of the marketing activities. Having a demonstrated track record of cross-channel marketing experience is a plus. A keen sense of ownership and speedy execution is a must. We welcome applicants with varying levels of experience.


What You’ll Do

Marketing Event Execution and Management: Plan, implement and evaluate marketing events and promotion activities including sales redemption programmes, opening events after mall renovation, in-mall events, seasonal decorations, and branding campaigns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, handle customer enquiry, communicate with tenants.


Sales Growth Initiatives Development: Constantly drive for improvement in market offerings and brand proposition to maximize sales potential of individual tenants and increase traffic flow across the shopping centres as a unique leader in the market. More emphasis must be put on developing and implementing CRM programmes, digitalising customer journey, brand strategies, growth roadmaps and integrated communications especially for the shopping centres after renovation.


Partnership and Project Management : Identify, assess and select suitable design and creative marketing agencies for our projects. Professionally manage the relationships and execution workflow to ensure the projects can be delivered timely and effectively.


Brand and Marketing Impact Measurement : Measure, monitor and analyse the impact of marketing activities to ensure we can raise positive brand awareness.


Budget Control and Monitoring : Assess and forecast resource needs for various projects and initiatives. Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to optimize team performance. Closely follow the payment order and payment request standard operating procedure and monitor the marketing budget. Regular reporting on marketing spending is required.

Detailed-Oriented Reporting : Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to create comprehensive reports. Prepare and present reports to senior management on marketing initiatives and outcomes.


What You’ll Need


• Degree holder in Marketing or any related discipline


• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in mall marketing / social and digital media / advertising / brand management / event management in a fast-paced environment preferred


• A track record in event marketing, customer relationship management, brand building, and marketing agency and vendor management


• Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating marketing activities for retail and shopping centres


• Experience in marketing big data management and business analysis is a plus


• Strong sense of ownership, creativity, and a deep passion for retail shopping centres


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure


• Good at multi-tasking and strives for excellence


• Strong attention to detail, responsible, collaborative, independent with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and adaptability in working with different personalities and external parties


• Highly polished writing skills in both English and Chinese are a must; proficiency in Japanese is a plus.


• Proficient in MS Office application, including PowerPoint, Excel and Chinese Word processing


• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop or some other graphic design tools is a plus
