Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Director of Risk Management to oversee the overall risk management of our digital currency exchange platform. This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies to ensure the platform's security, compliance, and stability. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial risk management, be familiar with the unique risks of the digital currency market, and be capable of leading a team to navigate an ever-changing regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Management Strategy Development and Execution:

• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies covering market risk, credit risk, operational risk, liquidity risk, and more.
• Regularly evaluate and update risk management policies to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Risk Monitoring and Reporting:

• Establish and maintain real-time risk monitoring systems to promptly identify and address potential risks.
• Submit regular risk reports to senior management and the board of directors, providing comprehensive analysis and recommendations on risk status.

Compliance and Regulation:

• Ensure the platform complies with digital currency-related laws and regulations worldwide, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
• Maintain close communication with regulatory bodies to stay informed and respond to regulatory changes.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and manage the risk control team, ensuring team members possess the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Provide training and guidance to enhance the team's overall risk management capabilities.

Crisis Management:

• Develop and implement crisis management plans to ensure rapid response during emergencies or significant market fluctuations.
• Lead crisis response teams, coordinating resources across departments to minimize risk impact.

Technology and Systems:

• Collaborate with the technology team to develop and optimize risk management systems, ensuring they effectively support risk management needs.
• Evaluate and introduce advanced risk management tools and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Master's degree or higher in finance, economics, risk management, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• At least 10 years of risk management experience in the financial industry, with a minimum of 3 years in the digital currency or cryptocurrency sector.
• Experience as a Director of Risk Management or similar role in a large financial institution or digital currency exchange.

Professional Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of the risk characteristics of the digital currency market, including market volatility, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for digital currencies in major global markets.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
• Strong leadership and management skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams to achieve goals.
• Outstanding communication and coordination skills, able to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external regulatory bodies.

Additional Requirements:

• Possession of relevant risk management certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM) is preferred.
• Deep understanding and passion for blockchain technology and digital currencies.
