We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences:

Temporary Research Assistant I/II (Several Posts) (N&HS) (Ref: 2500093)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointees will assist research teams on various projects of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.

  • The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
  • Assisting in participants’ recruitment;
  • Assisting in conducting interventions and data collection;
  • Conducting literature reviews on relevant topics;
  • Performing data processing and data analysis;
  • Providing assistance in a broad range of administrative duties, including preparation of progress updates, meeting minutes, reports, and social media posts; and
  • Providing research-related assistance.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • A Master’s degree or above in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Social Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, Statistics or other related disciplines;
  • Experience in research and data analysis;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Words, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Proficiency in SPSS will be an advantage;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Good coordination, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility, and ability to work independently.

Applicants without a Master's degree but with relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Temporary Research Assistant II.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary full-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
