Job Summary:

We are currently looking for an experienced System Development Manager with hands-on technical and analysis skills to join Listing Systems team. The incumbent will be managing critical projects and responsible for driving application development and providing support on Listing application systems.

 

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project implementation activities including business requirement analysis, resource estimation, testing, cutover & post-launch support and documentation.
  • Support the delivery of projects, and collaborate closely with different project stakeholders across teams.
  • Participate in project planning, timeline management, change management, issue management and release planning. Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to project milestones, and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders
  • Function as a contact point for external vendors. Monitor the performance of the vendor and the timeliness and quality of their deliverables. Ensure that the vendor receives important information and requirements. Escalate vendor-related issues to stakeholders on time.
  • Analyze application requirements, evaluate options for solution, drive and lead the application solution.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test script to ensure software quality and compliance with requirements
  • Produce requirements documents, functional specification, end-to-end process flows and use cases.
  • Work with business users and IT teams to ensure the application requirements are well communicated and solutions are developed to meet the requirements.
  • Contribute to timely delivery of the project in line with project scope and expectation.
  • Create and maintain project requirement documentations, including functional requirement specification, user manual

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Commerce, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years’ proven experience as a system analyst, or in relevant roles within well-established financial institutions or client-facing web application projects.
  • Experience in gathering requirements from stakeholders, and translating them into actionable plans.
  • Experience with software testing methodologies, including functional and regression test.
  • Strong organizational and project management experience under both waterfall and agile methodologies, with familiarity with best practices and documentation.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of the equity securities industry and financial industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem solving and people management skills
  • Experience with PEGA platform implementation project is a bonus
