We are hiring for one of our portfolio companies and they're looking for an Event Producer to join their team. The Event Producer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production of events, including large commercial events and smaller entertainment or non-commercial initiatives. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills, a passion for events, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Plan, organize, and execute events ranging from large-scale commercial productions to smaller non-commercial or entertainment-focused gatherings.
Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers, securing the best resources for each event.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define event objectives, themes, and goals.
Oversee event logistics, including timelines, schedules, production workflows, and on-site execution.
Coordinate and supervise event staff, contractors, and volunteers, ensuring smooth operations during the event.
Work with the creative team to develop event branding, themes, and visual concepts.
Evaluate event performance post-production, gathering feedback and providing reports with actionable insights for future improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas and improvements to events.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
3+ years of experience in event production, project management, or a related role.
Proven track record of managing both large-scale events and smaller, intimate gatherings successfully.
Strong skills in budget management, vendor negotiation, and resource allocation.
Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Creative problem-solving ability and adaptability under pressure, especially during on-site execution.
Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Asana, Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required by event schedules.
