The role offers a breadth of exposure in Prophet modelling as well as capital modelling and risk management frameworks. The successful candidate will support the Manager in the GIECA and ICS reporting process. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong student actuary who is looking for advanced level of hands-on experience in actuarial modelling as well as risk capital frameworks. The role also offers interaction opportunity with local business units (LBUs) and management within Prudential Group.
Job Requirements
- Responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of GIECA and ICS model results
- Responsible for reviewing the execution of actuarial controls on the Prophet model processes by junior staff
- Support LBUs and other Group teams in understanding capital reporting results through deep-dive analysis of actuarial model outputs
- Lead and coach junior actuarial trainees and interns in the production of actuarial model results, provide comprehensive review and constructive feedback to them
Job Qualifications
- Part-qualified Actuary with 3+ years of Actuarial experience
- Experienced in actuarial production with Prophet models
- Familiar with actuarial controls and review procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and explain complex actuarial modelling techniques and outputs
- Good understanding of long-term insurance products and the key levers to insurance financial results
