Our client, a textile company known for its high-quality fabrics, luxury clothing, and tailor-made garments with centuries of excellence and tradition, is currently looking for a:
Sales Manager
He/She will report directly to the Managing Director Asia Pacific, aiming to drive business growth initiatives and ensure comprehensive commercial coverage across the Region.
The resource will be responsible for:
• Initiate and lead projects related to textile sales, engaging with new tailors and clients
• Lead the sales of the textile line, primarily in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia
• Concentrate on the bunch line (tailoring line) as well as textile accessories for tailors (scarves, knitwear)
• Manage the distributors channel in China for custom-made products (tailors and suppliers)
• Manage negotiations with clients
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
• Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, cultivating and maintain key client relationships
• Participate in niche events to promote the brand and network with potential clients
Requirements :
• University degree or above
• Client relationship management experience within the textile and clothing industry
• Ability to effectively negotiate and manage contracts with clients and distributors
• Interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain lasting business relationships
• Advanced communication skills, problem-solving approach, flexible and adaptable to changing market conditions and client needs
• Time management and customer focus, understanding and meeting the needs of sophisticated clients
• Accountability, resilience, dynamism and self-motivation
• Openness and availability to travel (locally and internationally)
• Fluency in Italian and English; Chinese or other language are considered a plus
