This is a Hong Kong-based Finance Director position within a family office.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily financial operations and responsible for the financial team management of the family office and its domestic and overseas affiliated companies and organizations.
  2. Lead the financial planning of the family office, establish a stable financial structure, and ensure the achievement of financial goals and the security of funds.
  3. Responsible for the preparation and management of the annual budget, monitoring deviations between actual expenditures and the budget.
  4. Provide advice and decision-making support for the family office's investment activities, participate in risk assessment, guidance, tracking, and control.
  5. Regularly generate financial analysis reports to provide key data on operational performance, investment returns, and cash flow to support business and strategic decisions.
  6. Responsible for financial audits and internal controls to insure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  7. Stay updated on tax policies, formulate and implement tax strategies, and ensure financial operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and tax requirements.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in finance, financial management, accounting or related fields, holding a Hong Kong Certified Public Accountant (HKICPA) or other relevant professional qualifications.
  2. Over 10 years of financial management experience, including at least 5 years in a Finance Director role or equivalent in a large enterprise. Candidates with family office experience are highly preferred.
  3. Proficient in Hong Kong Accounting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and relevant laws and regulations; familiarity with mainland accounting standards is a plus.
  4. Comprehensive financial expertise, including financial analysis, budget management, cost control, and tax planning, with extensive hands-on experience particularly in financial analysis and budget management.
  5. Exceptional financial analysis and judgment skills, capable of providing accurate and effective financial support for management decision-making.
  6. Strong sensitivity to identifying and assessing various financial risks.
  7. Demonstrated high sense of responsibility and professional ethics, with the ability to handle sensitive information and a commitment to long-term development in this role.
  8. Proficient in both Chinese and English, with fluent spoken skills, able to use both languages in the workplace.
