Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager (Complaints and Enforcement), the appointee will be required to:

  • handle enquiries, complaints and conduct enforcement inspections properly and timely;
  • collect and analyse evidence for disciplinary cases in accordance with the PMSO and other relevant ordinances;
  • carry out investigations and gather evidence for alleged disciplinary offences;
  • assist in preparing various case reports and statistical reports, etc.;
  • prepare for and attend disciplinary hearings and court as witness; and
  • undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Tertiary education or above in any disciplines;
  • A minimum of 1 year relevant working experience;
  • Experience in handling complaints and customer service will be an advantage;
  • Enforcement experience in governmental departments/ statutory bodies/ authorities will be an advantage;
  • Good commend in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably attained Level 3 or above in HKDSEE, or Grade “C” or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in HKCEE, or equivalent);
  • Good report writing skills;
  • A team player with strong sense of responsibility and communications skills; and
  • Independent, empathetic, possesses good common sense and able to work under pressure.

Terms of Appointment

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A 3-year contract will be offered to the successful candidate. The PMSA is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
