Our client, a leading life insurance group, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their business strategy team. The role will be responsible for delivering behavioural analytics deliverables to business units, and the person will play a vital role in driving the adoption of Data Analytics within business units.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize data mining, analysis, and visualization techniques to generate insightful reports for business users
• Play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Data Analytics within agency business units, providing valuable insights and guidance on the strategic implementation of data-driven practices.
• Utilize data analytics capabilities to drive the future business and technology vision, including areas like AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, etc.
• Document and present analytical solutions to ensure proper documentation and understanding

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or any related discipline
• Hands-on experience with data analysis platforms or programming languages
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to other analytics tools.
• Hands-on experience in Power BI
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English
• Fast learner with strong analytical skills and a passion for data
• Prior experience in the insurance business is a big plus
