About the role
As a Marketing Specialist, Product Marketing – Gaming (System) at ASUS Technology (Hong Kong) Limited, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our gaming product portfolio. This full-time position is located in Kwun Tong, Kwun Tong District. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies to promote our cutting-edge gaming systems and help strengthen ASUS' position as a leading brand in the industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Become the brand custodian to elevate brand image and equity of ASUS and Republic of Gamers (ROG).
- Develop strategic quarterly Go-to-Market (GTM) plans for product launches and campaigns.
- Plan and manage quarterly marketing budget, including vendors’ and partners’ funds.
- Work closely with product managers, marketing teams (local and HQ) and channel sales, as well as external agencies and vendors, to ensure execution excellence and timely roll-out of all planned marketing activities.
- Conduct product research, market intelligence and competitors’ analysis.
- Plan and supervise the development and localization of content marketing assets.
- Build, plan, and implement overall PR strategy hands on and manage the proposed strategy from end-to-end, including ROI and KPI measurements and product sample rotation.
- Cultivate and maintain good relationships with technical and lifestyle media, journalists, bloggers, and influencers; proactively identify and secure any opportunities to promote company’s products and brand image.
- Plan and coordinate press events, product launches and thought leadership initiatives to generate positive media coverage and drive engagement.
- Any other marketing related responsibilities as assigned.
What we're looking for
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Mass Communications / Business or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in Product / Brand Marketing.
- Must have exceptional understanding of PR, channel marketing, digital and social media marketing including e-commerce marketing.
- Excellent project management and coordination, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Able to effectively manage internal stakeholders of various levels/hierarchy within the organization and external agencies/vendors.
- Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
- Independent, result oriented, display pro-active, positive, and agile attitude, friendly personality, able to interact with various groups/levels of people, willing to develop new skills/knowledge for self-improvement, and strong attention to details.
- Strong interest and/or understanding of PC Gaming and overall IT, laptops, PCs, desktops, and/or hardware will be an added advantage.
