The incumbent focus on managing supply chain process from Demand Forecast, Purchase Order (PO) creation and shipment arrangement for the dedicated internal customers. Support and deliver seamless integrated supply chain planning collaboration activities with destination supply chain team as well as key manufacturing partners. Enable excellent business understanding to latest forecast of needs and turn into actionable task to drive procurement and production activities with vendors. Key members in measuring and understanding forecast variance, develop, improve, and maintain a continuous replenishment model to improve speed to markets by effective assessment over Minimum Order Quantity, Order Review Cycle and Order Assembling Time.

This is an operational role to maintain key communications amongst Vendors, Retail Supply Chain team, Asia Buying and Quality team with regards to procurement schedule, inventory management and purchase forecast. Ensure clear visibility over company liability on finished goods at origin, enable ad-hoc demand request and manage safety stock availability at vendor sites.


Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities

  • Responsible for PO creation to balance total supply chain inventory at healthy level with full analysis
  • Ensure high data integrity on inter-system linkage with regards to PO, items and shipment details
  • Communicate thoroughly with Retail Supply Chain ensuring continuity of supply across global supply chain.
  • Regular review goods availability status to make sure sufficient stock in the pipeline in preventing shortage or excessive inventory.
  • Work alongside the buying team to conclude product development, supplier production lead-time, review MOQ, multiple deliveries and freight consolidation arrangements
  • Deliver retail centric projects to improve total supply chain efficiency e.g. new product development, reset or rebrand product range. Ensure product run-in-run-out (RIRO) and stock availability timeline in place for implementation
  • Monitor to vendor material phase in activities, factory production schedule as well as other order assembling status to ensure effective collaboration planning
  • Control and reach out to ensure clear visibility on ordering of end-of-life products in avoiding unnecessary purchase of obsolete items
  • Assess any other forecasting and inventory management tools to create overall business visibility on purchasing requirements under the defined time phase
  • Monitor and provide adequate input to improve forecast accuracy to the retail inventory management team and drive accurate projection of purchase
  • Develop and maintain supply plan to create visibility of inventory pipeline with vendor’s production schedule in covering on end-to-end order replenishment lead time
  • Support and drive developments on origin replenishment projects like VMI
  • Conduct, lead and drive regular communication with vendors, retail supply chain with various internal departments on production status and finished goods at origin reviews
  • Provide adequate assistance in freight consolidation at origin and support through custom clearance at destinations.
  • Work seamlessly with designated freight forwarder to ensure cargo deliveries against timeline expectation from overseas retail supply and import team
  • Constantly review on-time delivery performance with Retail Supply team and shipment service level reviews
  • Investigate and carry thorough assessment over delay reason shall it arise
  • Perform manual system input and create dashboard for regular supply / logistics performance reports


Key Position Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years of supply planning, inventory management and supply chain management
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in SCM/ Logistic/ Business Management
  • Good command of English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Strong technical knowledge in supply chain planning and inventory management tools with hands-on experience in driving inventory movement analytics across multiple supply chain functions, i.e. demand forecasting, supply planning, material resources planning, inventory pipeline analysis, logistics and freight forwarding
  • Excellent understanding of Purchase Order Process and system operations
  • Excellent understanding of international logistics, sea-freight handling, and inbound supply at origin
  • Excellent time management approach with sense of urgency in shipment logistics matters
  • Familiar with ERP, or any other cross-functional large-scale system operations
