Purpose

The Product Specialist is a multifaceted role responsible for supporting the Business Manager in managing all radiology customer accounts in Hong Kong and Macau. The candidate will focus on building, developing, and expanding Radiology product portfolio, covering both contrast and device businesses. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing direct contrast sales targets and device sales via distributors.
  • Driving marketing promotions for existing and new products.
  • Providing customer education, product training, and support activities.
  • Delivering tailored solutions and customized support to radiology clients.

Scope

  • Local (Hong Kong & Macau)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Engagement & Sales

    • Serve as the key point of contact for customers regarding contrast product promotion, inquiries, orders, education, and support.
    • Work towards achieving contrast sales targets.
  2. Device Business & Distributor Management

    • Collaborate with device distributors on total solution packages, bundling contrast and device sales.
    • Monitor distributor sales performance, marketing efforts, product training, and support activities.
  3. Demand Forecasting & Inventory Management

    • Work with the Business Manager, supply chain, and contrast distributors to ensure accurate demand forecasting.
    • Monitor daily stock levels and proactively report opportunities or risks related to contrast supply and demand.
  4. Account Analysis & Customized Solutions

    • Conduct in-depth evaluations of radiology accounts to understand their needs and growth potential.
    • Provide tailored solutions using radiology product portfolio.
  5. Business Development

    • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities aligned with global radiology strategy.
    • Drive growth in contrast products, medical devices, disposables, and AI solutions.
  6. Marketing & Promotional Activities

    • Implement marketing and action plans in collaboration with the Business Manager, marketing team, and local distributors.
    • Coordinate and execute promotional activities to achieve sales targets for the radiology device portfolio.
  7. Product Strategy & Launches

    • Work with the Business Manager and marketing teams on new product launches, product phase-outs, and strategic initiatives.
    • Ensure distributors are well-prepared for product changes.
  8. Customer Education & Training

    • Provide regular training to customers on the latest radiology guidelines, publications, and industry news.
    • Offer training on device operations to ensure proper usage and efficiency.
  9. Distributor Training & Compliance

    • Train local device distributors on product knowledge, positioning, pricing, marketing strategy, and competitive differentiation.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies to support business objectives.
  10. Innovation & Business Growth

  • Proactively explore new business opportunities in response to evolving market needs.
  • Identify innovative ways to expand radiology product portfolio.
  1. Sales Forecasting & Risk Management
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and identify potential risks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and proactively report to the Business Manager.
