Work you'll do

• Advise, design, build and test cloud architecture and services for web and mobile applications,
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for cloud solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance,
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures,
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary,
• Prepare technical documentation and architecture artifacts for system implementation,
• Evaluate and propose the technical options to properly address project requirements and constraints,
• Lead technical solution discussion with client’s technical teams and 3rd party service providers,
• Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients,
• Keep up to date with developments on current cloud computing solutions and processes.

We are looking for someone with

• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends,
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, software application, and design,
• Experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Ali Cloud or other major cloud computing services,
• Strong understanding of cloud services on IaaS and PaaS, e.g. EKS, Lambda, API gateway, Terraform, EMR, RDS, VPC, ALB, NLB, WAF, etc.
• Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on data privacy and security,
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment,
• Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams,
• Experience in development projects in financial service industry,
• Experience in Architecture Design and Technical Solutioning,
• 4+ year of cloud engineering and architecture working experience.
• Proficient in writing and interpreting documentation, as well as software/architecture diagrams and specifications
• Proactive, strong sense of responsibility, good communication, and teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in languages: English, Cantonese and Mandarin
