Job Description

Quality Framework Development

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and implement a comprehensive business quality framework tailored for agency distribution channel.
  • Develop and effectively execute controls in key risk areas of agency distribution channel, including Selection and appointment of intermediaries, onboarding processes, ongoing assessment of intermediaries, and sales, marketing, and communication controls.
  • Monitor the compensation controls and oversee the sales workflow to ensure high standards of business quality.
  • Proactively address customer complaint and conduct management issue to uphold service excellence.
  • Participate in agency governance and related initiatives aimed at sustaining long-term and short-term growth and performance.

Agency Compliance & Governance

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement robust controls in identified risk areas.
  • Conduct regular risk and control assessments for the department, driving initiatives to mitigate areas of increased risk.
  • Investigate and report compliance incidents to the Department Head.
  • Coordinate and assist with departmental reviews conducted by Compliance, Internal Audit, and regulatory bodies.

Training & Development

  • Establish best practices for sales and recruiting activities within the agency channel through continuous training programs and effective engagement initiatives.
  • Enhance awareness of agency-related compliance and understanding of risk management, controls, and governance through various communication channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, accounting, or relevant discipline.
  • With a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in insurance industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Good understanding of the requirements by the Insurance Authority
  • Strong interpersonal skills, objective-driven and results oriented. Able to work independently and together with business units under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and solutions driven.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus.
