Aurex Group have been exclusively engaged to find a Commercial Manager for an international Contractor with projects around the world. With a strong portfolio of projects locally and internationally, this newly created position will be working closely with the leadership team to oversee the commercial elements of the projects across the business.

Methodical and logical, you will be able to translate your findings into digestible information to the senior leadership team to take action. This role will require you to keep on top of project’s performance all over the world, looking at opportunities to positively influence the commercial outcomes. Equally as important will be your character and professional approach to work. You will be expected to take the front foot and engage with clients in meetings, offer solutions to potential challenges that could arise if not addressed early and be committed to put the company’s commercial interests in the best possible situation

To be considered for a role, you must hold the following:

• A minimum of 8 years in a commercial position within the Built industry.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
• A stable track record showcasing effective decisions on project and group level in previous roles.
• Strong communication skills, able to deliver a message at both stakeholder and project level.
• A can-do approach, favouring a relationship approach to a remedial mindset.
