Responsibilities:

• Leading a team to manage resources, maintain and execute policies, procedures, plans and systems in all aspect of operational duties for the trade fairs and public fairs in Hong Kong
• To formulate operation strategies and develop strategic and contingency plans to ensure smooth execution of projects
• To prepare budget forecast / scenario analysis, coordinate with cross-functional teams to exercise budgetary control and prepare financial reports
• To conduct research, observe industry trends, provide strategic insights and identify new development opportunities  
• To participate in the development and enhancement of the related IT System 
• To oversee full spectrum of event services including appointment and supervision of service vendors, cooperation with venue operators, liaising with the stakeholders
• To implement ad-hoc compliance measures in relation to new policies and regulations
   

Requirements:

• A university degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or Accounting 
• A minimum of 8 years’ solid managerial experience in marketing / business development. Experience in the exhibition industry  a definite advantage
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
• Strong problem solving skills and with proven track record on operational planning and execution
• Strong analytical and project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks with tight timelines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with strong leadership and team management skills

Remuneration and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a two-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus an appropriate contract-end gratuity. Medical benefits and annual leave will be offered.
