Distribution Centre is the key to getting new products out to our growing number of stores. To keep up with our ever-changing inventory, we stay nimble and adaptable. No day is the same, and that’s just how we like it. Every shift is a new opportunity to discover differences and support each other along the way. As a pivotal member of our operations team, you are responsible for operating an efficient, productive, and safe department while meeting or exceeding daily production requirements within the Distribution Centre. To maintain a positive and motivated workforce, you will spend a minimum of 70% of the total shift "on the floor" reviewing orders and advising operators.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 20+ leads and assistants independently in a warehouse setting
• Understand the logistics requirements and work closely with forwarders to prioritise and plan shipments accordingly
• Warehouse assistants’ onboarding and training
• Update and maintain the inventory management system
• Warehouse in/ out daily inventory movement supervision
• Ensure the warehouse is in a systematic and orderly manner
• Inventory count supervision
• Solve operational problems
• Improve supply chain software functionality
• Ensure constant improvement by reviewing performance metrics, practices and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations with a focus on managing personnel
• Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Proven ability to motivate teams, provide feedback and manage conflict
• A passion for retail business, strong performance standards, and coaching & development
• Proven leadership, team collaboration, strategic thinking and strong communication skills
• Willingness to occasionally work rotating shifts dependent on business needs
