We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer in Hong Kong to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and analytics solutions for our client in the retail domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python, SQL, and Azure Databricks .
• Develop and optimize data models for efficient storage and retrieval in Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, or other cloud-based data warehouses .
• Implement data integration solutions across multiple sources, ensuring high availability, accuracy, and consistency.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver meaningful insights to business users.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, or similar role .
• Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, PySpark) and SQL for data manipulation.
• Experience with Azure cloud services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Databricks).
• Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query) and experience in developing interactive reports.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development and data warehousing concepts.
