Job Title: Senior Technical Service Manager (Government projects)

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Technical Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a technical team handling system, network, database administration, and IT operations

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale IT infrastructure

• Provide technical advice and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders

• Design network architecture and system infrastructure for cost-effective and scalable solutions

• Ensure system security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are in place

• Coordinate with vendors for system hardware/software delivery, installation, and support

• Develop and enforce technical operation procedures and documentation

• Work closely with vendors and customers on system infrastructure design and implementation

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related disciplines

• Minimum 12 years of IT experience, with at least 6 years in infrastructure design and implementation, preferably in government projects

• Strong knowledge in network design, large-scale PC deployment, system security, clustering, SAN storage, and backup solutions

• Expertise in at least one technical area: system, network, security, data center, or storage

• Proven experience in delivering large-scale projects, preferably in the government sector

• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills

• Excellent analytical skills and documentation techniques

• Proactive, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

• ITIL or PMP certification is essential
