Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
Initiates and develops the sales leadership training strategies to drive the company agency growth in terms of number of active recruiters and number of young leaders.
Develops, implements, and monitors agency strategies (including but not limited to High New Worth business, MCI focused training and Development, Agency Productivity Enhancement) for agency productivity growth and agency team development.
Implements tailor-made agency training & business-driven development programs to enhance advisors’ competency in sales professionalism & client services.
Cultivates agency recruitment culture.
Develops IANG and MCI focused training.
Ensures and monitors the effectiveness of all agency training initiatives and measures and analyzes training results.
Develops and grooms a pool of trainers in terms of course content development and training delivery.
Manages the responsible teams’ overall performance and develops staff development plan.
Collaborates well with other departments (e.g. DoA, Agency Support, Product Team, Product Business Development Team, High Net Worth Team, Life Operations, MFP etc.) to boost agency sales and attract/retain quality agency force.
Communicates and disseminates key information and company directions to the agency force and garner feedback for effective decision making.
Establishes rapport and trust within agencies through closely knitted relationship management.
Ensures effective communication and relationship between company and agency by regular interaction with all levels of managers and advisors
Works closely with peers and ensure high team collaboration in the department
Manages staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to staff
Monitors and ensures all program logistics including training record and performance reports are accurate and updated
Manages and closely monitors the assigned budget
Job Requirement
Degree holder
At least 10 years of experience at management level on developing, training and educating sales management and field force, direct sales and management involving financial products. Actual direct selling experience from the industry is an advantage
Applies expert knowledge of insurance industry, business operations, and products with emphasis on agency distribution system.
Applies in-depth understanding of adult learning philosophies and how to apply them to course development and delivery.
Applies expert knowledge of basic and advanced sales techniques, selling approaches to curriculum development and delivery.
Applies up-to-date knowledge of trends and developments in training and course design, organizational development and financial services industry to curriculum development and delivery.
