Job Summary:
The Associate Director of Agency Transformation and Strategy will be responsible for supporting and executing the strategic initiatives focused on optimizing the agency distribution model and enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of the agency workforce. This role will work closely with Head of Agency Transformation and Strategy, agency management, and cross-functional teams to craft and drive effective strategies to implement various agency programme, including recruiting
high-potential individuals with entrepreneurial aspirations, nurturing their growth, and guiding them toward building successful and sustainable careers as financial entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agency Transformation Strategy:
- Help develop and manage the long-term agency transformation roadmap to align with the organization's overall business objectives.
- Identify key focus areas for improvement, such as compensation revamp, compensation and agency structure related enhancement, agent capability upgrade, performance management, and technology enablement.
- Utilize data and analytics to track agency development, and identify opportunities for further expansion and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define transformation goals, milestones, and success metrics.
- Support Head of Agency Transformation and Strategy on different initiatives to drive agency development, engagement and culture change
- Drive and execute different process improvements and change management relating to workflows and processes
- Entrepreneurial Young Talent Development Programme:
- Work closely with Head of Agency Transformation and Strategy to redesign and revamp an Entrepreneurial Young Talent Development Programme, transforming it into a modern, impactful development platform.
- Lead the end-to-end design of the programme, including structure, content, and execution strategies, to attract and nurture top-tier young talent.
- Foster a collaborative ecosystem where participants can learn from peers, mentors, and alumni.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate innovative tools, such as digital platforms, social media, gamified assessments, personalized learning modules, and mentorship frameworks.
- Oversee the implementation and execution of the revamped programme, ensuring its success through measurable outcomes and continuous improvements.
- Agency Value Proposition:
- Facilitate discussions to gather insights and feedback from various stakeholders on the agency’s unique strengths and value-add, and synthesize key points for Head of Agency Transformation and Strategy
- Ensure alignment on the core elements of the agency value proposition among internal key stakeholders
- Manage communication and evaluate consistent delivery of the value proposition across the agency network.
- Execute implementation plans to operationalize the agreed-upon value proposition
- Monitor the performance and impact of the value proposition, and make necessary adjustments based on market feedback and changing customer needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in agency distribution and transformation initiatives.
- Proven track record of designing and executing large-scale development programme or initiatives
- Deep understanding of agency management and experienced in utilizing data analytics to drive decision-making, assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Leadership qualities to drive initiatives independently and lead cross-functional projects.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- Relevant educational background in business, technology, or a related field.
