Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and develop staff and contractors within the Repairs and Maintenance Service.
Monitor all renovation, repair, and maintenance work to ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and statutory requirements.
Oversee the development and implementation of the Repairs and Maintenance Strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and cost-effectively solutions.
Ensure smooth implementation of building contracts, keeping expenses within budget while safeguarding the Centre’s interests.
Prepare defect lists for ongoing projects and ensure timely rectification by contractors.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance, regularly monitoring services for performance enhancement.
Ensure robust procurement processes and oversee contractor performance to meet current and future service needs.
Champion the customer's voice in all service decisions, maintaining high tenant satisfaction and addressing complaints effectively.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Develop and oversee routine and preventive maintenance inspection reports to maintain building integrity and compliance.
Provide technical information and ensure all event setups comply with fire safety and building safety regulations.
Requirements:
Degree holder or above in building surveying, construction management, architectural studies, or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years in building maintenance or related fields, with solid knowledge of construction, interior design concepts, and building services.
Proficient in English & Chinese
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure while multitasking.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Willingness to attend 24-hour emergency calls and perform typhoon duty as required.
