Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct research and development activities to enhance the performance, efficiency, and functionality of small household appliances, with a focus on coffee related products;
  • Design and prototype new components, systems, and features for new products;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, project engineers, and quality engineers to ensure successful implementation of new technologies;
  • Perform experiments, collect and analyse data, and present findings to support decision-making processes;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and industry trends, and perform product benchmarking analysis;
  • Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions to leverage expertise and drive innovation

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Manufacturing / Product Engineering or related disciplines;
  • Proven experience in research and development, preferably in the coffee industry or related fields;
  • Familiar with CAD software such as Pro E / Creo / SolidWorks 3D modelling or related knowledge;
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical tools to interpret experimental results;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment;
  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English;
  • Fresh graduates with strong passion in coffee also welcomed
